When lions hunt, the older weaker males, who are no longer strong enough to chase prey, position themselves on one side of the grasslands and let out a massive, terrifying roar. The younger, faster lionesses wait silently on the opposite side of the grasslands. Terrified by the roar, the prey instinctively run the opposite direction… right into the trap where the real danger awaits. If the prey did the opposite, ran toward the roar instead of away from it, they would avoid the trap to live another day.  Like prey running toward the roar of the hunting lion, I believe in facing fear head-on rather than avoiding it. I’ve embraced the challenges and pressures of post-production, knowing that true growth comes from tackling the toughest obstacles.  I believe that great editing is as much about feeling as it is about technique and I’ve worked hard to develop both — learning how to craft compelling stories while mastering the tools that bring them to life. There’s always something new to learn, refine, and perfect and I approach every project with that mindset, knowing that great storytelling is built on skill, collaboration and curiosity.
